The 8th Grade Journey Times and Writers Workshops are part of the final year of AoB.  The journey times are traveling experiences when youth and parents go to experience other faith groups worship times and have conversations with their leaders about who they are.  This is used to share how we as Lutherans are similar and different, but most importantly how we can live together in the world God gave us.

Sunday, Nov 14th- 1st United Methodist Church in F-V

Friday, Jan 21st, 2011- Beth Shalom Temple in Raleigh, NC

Saturday or Sunday, Mar 6th, 2011- Islamic Mosque in Raleigh, NC (Afternoon - After second Service)

Sunday, Oct 10th- Interviews and Introducing Faith Statement

Sunday, Dec 5th- Focus on Bible Verse

Sunday, Feb 13th, 2011- Focus on Questions/Writing Process

Sunday, Apr 17th- Sharing / Critequing / Celebrating
